 This could be the greatest nightmare of female celebrities performing on stage. This is something that no one expected that it could happen. Well, everyone can be a victim of wardrobe malfunction but this is beyond all the malfunctions that could happen on live television.
42-year-old Mexican singer Patricia Natividad was wearing a blue mini dress while performing on the morning TV show “Despierta Americana”. At the beginning of the video, we can say that there’s nothing wrong with how this Mexican singer performs. She’s very graceful as she danced and sang the song “Viva Mexico” until a white object fell off from her legs.
Professionally, Natividad continued like nothing happened but since the video was just a fancam instead of focusing the camera to the singer, the camera zoomed to the white object that fell – it’s a sanitary napkin.
After the controversy, Natividad spoke and gave her side. She bravely confirmed that the thing that fell off from her legs was a sanitary napkin and explained that she didn’t intend to drop it. She also added that that incident is not something that she must be ashamed of and was hoping that this won’t spark prejudgement and bully online.
As a female, we really agree to what Natividad had told in her interview. Afterall, production malfunction such as this accident caught on cam is inevitable. Let’s just hope like Patricia Natividad that this situation won’t start cyber bullying.
